In light of what’s going on locally and globally with the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we are actively committed to providing a healthy environment for you to receive treatment with minimal risk of exposure by:
Disinfecting treatment beds and support surfaces: It's always been our practice to clean treatment beds after each patient visit. We will be extra vigilant in this.
Disinfecting door handles, washroom keys, chairs, reception desk and payment machines: In anticipation of all the surfaces you will be in contact with from when you arrive to when you depart, we will be disinfecting it throughout the day.
Switching out cotton pillow cases for soft vinyl pillow cases: Previously we rolled fresh lining paper on the cotton pillows for each patient but we will be replacing the covers with vinyl ones which can be sprayed and/or wiped with disinfectant.
Screening patients prior to visit: To ensure our clinic is a safe place of minimal exposure, we will screen patients according to the recommendations from the BC Ministry of Health prior to their appointment. They will be rescheduled if necessary.
Providing hand sanitizer There are hand sanitizer stations outside the elevators. Please make use of them before and after your appointment. We aim to have them in the clinic once it can be found in the city again.
Hand washing with soap is the best preventative measure against transmission of this and any other viruses.
As we strive to provide a healthy and safe environment for patients and staff alike, we request adherence to the guidelines provided by BC Ministry of Health.
If you have flu-like symptoms like fever, cough, sore throat or difficulty breathing, please self-isolate and call your family doctor or 8-1-1.
If you have traveled outside Canada, or may have been exposed to COVID-19, please self-isolate for 14 days to monitor for symptoms.
During this time we will waive our cancellation policy for patients with flu-like symptoms. You can reschedule online here.
